Now I've written a couple of articles and have no clue whether people read this stuff, I am willing to admit something. I am fascinated by the Clintons. No I am not an admirer of him, or her, but their phenomena in itself. The main reason is the modernization of their politics, but also the mystery with it. Why did everything explode because of his affair with an intern? What makes him different from so many? What was the problem with Starr? Hillary often mentioned it’s something the republicans do. I am new to this thing, just started studying philosophy and taking classes in politics. Clinton, of course, is one of the subjects of discussion. He always is, and I question why.
There’s something about the man, any man, any man with power. Clinton is someone with so much charisma according to many, but somehow it was an intern he chose to pursue. I can’t imagine it was all her as she was an intern. He was the president, she was a young woman mesmerized by the president. Wouldn’t we all? Would I?
A couple weeks ago I got involved in a situation where I met charismatic and powerful people. It was the first time in my dancing career I was invited to a group like that. It was interesting, very interesting. Things went crazy and I got involved, but I could’ve done more. There was a lot of power and maybe I will meet them again.
Thinking about Clinton and Lewinsky I might not, because it could go several ways. First, I will have a nice group of friends. Second, I will not and will continue being a dancing bookworm. Third, I will be totally involved in their powergame and will be trapped in their web one way or another, not sure to become one of them or just their pawn. In the end I created a fourth option: having fun, but keeping my distance.
I have found my fun. My power. A silent power, being careful not to end up like Lewinsky. That lady taught us a lesson. Never trust those with the power and their information, but create your own island of strength, fun and seduction.
Love, Leya
